Founded in NYC by husband and wife duo Chris and Jina Kim- Circumference is a brand who’s values and principles run deep.

This pair of conscious entrepreneurs are equally motivated to take care of our skin, as they are our planet.. and while no brand can 100% tick all boxes, Circumference is getting pretty close, setting a new standard for the beauty industry as a whole.

Let’s start with their formulas- for us, high efficacy is a non-negotiable, and Circumference products deliver.

Each product is made with a meticulous blend of potent, plant-derived actives proven to be highly effective, safe, and stable- starting with the most nutrient-rich botanicals, harvested with care in their own native regions. The combination of highly bioactive oils and extracts, with leading skincare science makes for lush, performance skincare that works. Non-toxic and ethically produced, their formulas are sophisticated and modern in every sense of the word.

Circumference place equal importance to their formulas, as they do their commitment to our planet. In a snapshot- Circumference’s sustainability model already includes a number of initiatives, like fair and socially responsible practices with their independent producers, suppliers and farmers, alternative plastic-free packaging, and sourcing of botanicals from indigenous regions where the plants are healthfully grown.

Perhaps the most exciting initiative however, is their Waste-Not-Sourcing. This beauty industry first aims to identify bio-waste and by product materials from independent agricultural producers, and repurpose them as valuable, potent ingredients in their skincare formulations.

Intelligent sourcing is the next revolution in sustainable beauty—and there’s no smarter, kinder way to gather ingredients than from what would otherwise already be tossed out.

Circumference is taking cues from nature’s own ingenious self-renewing design, partnering with independent agricultural producers to upcycle their byproducts into luxe, highly bioactive skincare botanicals. Cross-industry collaboration in the name of true, full-circle sustainability—root to leaf, and back again

Thus far they have partnered with Bedell Cellars winery, repurposing their leaves and vines that would otherwise go to waste, drawing out the potent nutrients, antioxidants, polyphenols and enzymes, which make powerful ingredients in skincare. And more recently- a partnership with Brightland Olive Oil. Giving their valuable byprodcut (olive leaves) new purpose.

Active Restorative Moisturising Cream is their first and potent product born out of the Waste-not Initiative. Deriving healing powers from leftovers of the wine making process, and pouring them into this lush nourishing face cream.

While the industry isn’t short of brands making bold (marketing) statements about their ‘clean’ and sustainable practice, Circumference are putting in the work at every step of the way-from ethical cultivation, clean extraction, formulation, fair trade, and environmentally friendly packaging. Delivering an end product that is uber sustainable before sitting pretty in your hands, and on your skin.

Their mission? to support health, balance and vitality at every layer. From soil to skin, and back again.
