Read our 5 mins with Billie....
I. Billie- you’re an INES kind of girl- effortless and understated. What is your go-to look when it comes to skin, hair, nails?
BI. Thank you! I definitely prefer a natural look. I try and focus on having good skin so then I can choose to wear a little or as much makeup as I want. I do love getting my nails done - I always have a coloured pedicure and sometimes have a matching manicure if time allows.
I. Do you have any hair rituals or products you absolutely swear by?
BI. Well firstly I swear by getting a good cut and colour! My hairdresser Renya from Valonz knows that I don’t style my hair at all and will probably not be back in the salon for a good while so she gives me a cut that works with my natural texture and grows out well.
I’ll add some Oribe dry texturising spray at the roots for some texture
I. Are inner beauty products a part of your wellbeing/skincare routine? If so- what are your go-to’s? .
BI. They are! Skin health is very much linked to gut health. I love The Beauty Chef Glow and Cleanse which I add to smoothies - and I want to try their new Omega. I sometimes add mushroom powders as well. A good probiotic and zinc supplement as well

I. How does your day start?
BI. Currently its lemon and ginger in hot water followed by online pilates.
I. And ...Your evening ritual..
BI. I have some dark chocolate and a nighttime tea after dinner.
I. How has working in the beauty (and fashion) space shaped your personal approach to what can be a very overwhelming industry?
BI. I think its easy to get caught up in what’s new and the latest trends working in the industry. I try and seek out trusted experts and listen to their advice. Whilst I do mix things up and love trying a new product I try to work within what I know works for my skin.
I. A beauty pearl of wisdom.
BI. Be kind
I. Skincare splurge? And a skincare steal?
BI. Splurge would have to be a Dessee LED light mask and then steal I love Embryolisse moisturiser.
I.Your beauty icon? If you have one!
BI. Anyone who is effortless and embraces ageing. Lauren Hutton, Jane Birkin, Michelle Pfeiffer…
I.Where do you get your source of beauty news and inspiration? (E.g. Print magazines/online/social?)
BI. Working in the industry for so long has meant always finding out the latest launches. I do love instagram for following brands and discovering new ones. For makeup inspiration its the runway shows and beauty shoots which inspire me.
I. What ingredients do you look out for in your skincare (e.g. hyaluronic for hydration, AHA’s BHA’s etc)
BI. I love oils. I’ll happily try any and all oils.
I. Finally your top INES picks?
Embryolisse Lait-Creme concentrate (this is perfect for everyday and I even mix some with my tinted moisturiser/foundation to make it super hydrating and sheer.
I also really want to try the iS Clinical range!
