Avoid gel cleansers that tend to foam up and dry out skin, opting for formulas with creamy textures, like a balm or oil. TIP: watch water temperatures- keep it tepid. Hot or overly cold water can dry out skin even more

Finally, some tips to boosting your cleansing ritual...
DO double cleanse.
When done correctly, a double cleanse won’t strip your skin, but keep skin as clean and healthy as possible. After a day’s build-up of make-up, SPF, and pollution, a double cleanse should be an essential part of your routine. The first cleanse will remove the surface layer of makeup and grime from the day- the second cleanse will work away at the dead skin cells. This ensures any products applied after will absorb more efficiently.

DO: Exfoliate or deep cleanse weekly
