Founded by Leonor and Jean-Marie Greyl in 1968 long before bio beauty was the movement it is today, Leonor Greyl formulas eschewed harsh chemicals and damaging synthetics, and instead harnessed the power of plant botanicals.
Through precise diagnosis and formulation, every product is created with a specific hair condition in mind. Their range of shampoos, oils, masks and mists are reputed for maintaining healthy, glossy hair
CG. France is all about chic in a very natural way. I think we can describe our look in the same way. It is all about glamour using natural products which has been our slogan since the beginning and we are also made in France
"It is even more relevant today to stay true to the brand’s identity that differentiates Leonor Greyl from the rest. Constantly developing hair care treatments made with only the purest of natural ingredients, maintaining the same product quality, dedication and effort has allowed Leonor Greyl to reach international recognition."
CG. It is impossible to tell Leonor Greyl’s story without mentioning hair oils. Far more than a signature product, they are the brand’s DNA. The first product of the brand was Huile de Germe de Blé, launched 1968. At the time, the idea of using an oil to rebalance oily scalps was cutting-edge. Oils are an excellent care product, both super efficient and practical to use. We use them to repair, nourish and protect the hair, to prepare for shampooing or ease detangling, to soothe the scalp, purify it or boost hair growth. Today, the Institute continues to use oils as the basis of the customised treatments it offers.
CG. Give hair more.... More glamour, more beauty, all with a healthy lifestyle in mind.
"I have stayed true to the philosophy of my parents, who saw the power of plants long before it became a trend in the beauty industry. Years and years of global sourcing of botanicals and natural ingredients, meticulous R&D and testing in the Leonor Greyl Institute has resulted in award-winning formulas and loyalty from our consumers."

CG. IN YOUR 20’S, you need to rebalance the scalp. Therefore it is better to use gentle shampoos which allow a frequent use without stripping the scalp and hair. In your thirties, hair is more fragile, most of the time as a result of coloring. You should use oils once a week, and apply a hair mask for 20 minutes weekly.
IN YOUR 40’S, hair is thinning and you should start thinking of revitalizing it by using vitamin supplements and tonifying lotion. It is when the first grey hairs start appearing that there is a tendency to multiply the coloring, so you have to make sure that you keep nourishing your hair with oils and masks at least twice a week.
IN YOUR 60’S, hair is definitely thinning and it is recommended to follow a fortifying treatment every three months.
CG. Too many hair care product manufacturers take short cuts in their ingredients and production. Too often they use lower cost chemicals and harsh additives to achieve results – often at the expense of the well-being of the consumer.

CG. A hair tonic is a mist you apply on your hair to bring it the energising supplements essential for its health and vitality. As a leave-in treatment, the tonic will act on the hair all-day-long, which make them particularly recommended for hair lacking in vitality. Depending on the active ingredients it contains, they are practical and efficient solutions to strengthen thinning hair, to moisturise dry hair or to balance oily scalps
CG. I use different products all year long depending on if I just did my colour or not, where I travel, the water hardness or even the hairstyle I want. If I should choose only one product, it may be L’Huile de Leonor Greyl because of its multi-purpose properties, it is a real must-have in my bathroom or whenever I travel..
